Let's say the rankings were released a month before season-end


what changes that matters?

Do you really think if you saw VT move from 39 to 31 in the first week we'd really know why and could do anything about it moving forward?

Would it be good for SMU or whoever to know at some point they basically have no chance?

Does UNC or whoever take their foot off the gas once they "know" they're in? If so, is that a good thing?
